Seafarers, Rayrigg Road
Seafarers is a traditional fish and chip takeaway in Bowness-on-Windermere. The shop is on Rayrigg Road, almost opposite The World of Beatrix Potter and a short walk from Lake Windermere.
Come for cod, haddock, chips and gravy, scampi, pies and the rest of a proper chippy board. There are a few tables inside if you want to sit down; most people take it away — often down to the lake.
The company is Seafarers (Bowness) Limited, established in 2011.
